From bike to running track

Once again this year, Westfalen Mobil was one of 53 teams in Rheda-Wiedenbrück to take part in the CITY CYCLING event. From 1st to 25th of May 26 colleagues cycled a total of 5,848 kilometres with a lot of joy and enthusiasm and thus took 12th place in the municipal ranking. The aim was to leave the car at home as often as possible and make everyday journeys as climate-neutral as possible by bike. 

A few days later, on the 11th of June 2025, they started as the Westfalen Mobil GmbH team at the AOK company run in Rheda-Wiedenbrück. This year, for the first time, some colleagues set off on the 4 km walking route . Others, as in previous years, started the 6 km run. The atmosphere was good and everyone managed the long distance with the support of colleagues and viewers. Afterwards, the team celebrated their sporting success with a refreshing drink on the market square.
