Team Westfalia cycles 5947 km in the city cycling event (25.07.2023)

In the seventh edition of the city cycling event in Rheda-Wiedenbrück, the aim was once again to cycle as many everyday journeys as possible in a climate-friendly way for three weeks. This year, a team from Westfalen Mobil GmbH took part for the first time. 28 colleagues pedalled diligently for the Westfalen Mobil team and the municipality of Rheda-Wiedenbrück from 03.06.-23.06.23, so that in the end 5947 kilometres were cycled, which meant a saving of 963.4 kilograms of CO₂. In the ranking of the city of Rheda-Wiedenbrück, the team took an excellent 8th place out of a total of 38 participating teams. In the end, the ranking was not really important, as the focus was on having fun and cycling for a better climate and their own health.
